Ursula Tooley is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Tooley received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience and was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. She worked jointly with Dr. Allyson Mackey in the Changing Brain Lab and Dr. Danielle Bassett in the Complex Systems Group. Her Ph.D. work explored functional brain network development in childhood and effects of socioeconomic status and the early environment on brain development. In her current work, she examines structural and functional brain development in neonates and toddlers, and brain plasticity as it relates to early experiences.
